Project description

Cerro Lindo Project is one of the largest under-ground mines of South America, lying South of Lima, in the middle of the Andes Mountains, at an altitude of over two kilometers. Mainly zinc, but also copper and silver are extracted from this mine. The mine is operated by Nexa Resources (www.nexaresources.com), Dinet (www.dinet.com.pe) is the contractor. They are responsible for hauling the ore from the mine to the local processing plant.
